Mclennan - O'Connor

Cape Kidnappers, New Zealand - Hetty Jane Mclennan and Patrick Crimmins O'Connor were married March 23 on top of a cliff on the grounds of the Farm Hotel in Cape Kidnappers, New Zealand. Wedding specialist Kate Brown officiated.

A reception at the Clifton Cafe in Te Awanga, Hastings, New Zealand followed.

The bride is the daughter of John and Susan Mclennan of Havelock North, New Zealand. The groom is the son of Michael and Carol O'Connor of Attleboro.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

The witnesses were Rachel Johnston, a friend of the bride, and Michael O'Connor, brother of the groom.

Attleboro was represented at the wedding not only by the groom's family, but by longtime friends Jimmy Carty, Chris Morse and David Lapointe.

The bride earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Canterbury, Sydney, Australia; and a master's degree in environmental science from the University of New England, Sydney, Australia.

She is a land management specialist for the Hawkes Bay District Council in Napier, New Zealand.

The groom earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and a master's degree in social work at Denver University in Denver, Colo.

He is a social worker for the Hawke's Bay District Health Board in Napier, New Zealand.

After a wedding trip to the Komodo Islands, Indonesia, the couple makes their home in Bluff Hill, Napier, New Zealand.
