Spack - Platt

Girdwood, Alaska - The Raven Glacier Lodge served as the setting for the wedding ceremony and reception of Kristin Spack and Andrew Platt on July 13, 2013.

The bride's uncle, Fran Mulhall of New Orleans, La., officiated. The couple met in the city in 2006.

The parents of the bride are Cathy and Stan Spack of Attleboro. The groom's parents are Chris and Brad Platt of Eagle River, Alaska.

Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a Claire Pettibone gown and carried a bouquet of Alaskan wildflowers.

Carly Briggs, cousin of the bride, was the maid of honor.

The bridesmaids were Stephanie Martin, Kendra King Pugh and Kathleen Kirby Durfee, all friends of the bride from high school.

Jordan Vause, a high-school classmate of the groom, served as best man.

The ushers were Mike Brusehaber and Daniel Rink, both friends of the groom, and Patrick Briggs, cousin of the bride.

The bride graduated from Attleboro High School in 2002.

She works at Spawn Advertising in Anchorage, Alaska.

The groom graduated from Eagle River High School in 2001. He works at Absolute Environmental in Anchorage.

The couple makes their home in Anchorage.
