Lahood - Quinn

Brittney E. Lahood and Army Staff Sgt. Brendan T. Quinn were married July 5 on board Norwegian Cruise Line's vessel Norwegian Dawn.

They were accompanied by more than 40 friends and relatives on a 7-day cruise from Boston to Bermuda, through the path of Hurricane Arthur.

They met on board the cruise ship two years prior.

The bride is the daughter of Joseph and Karen Lahood of Lisbon Falls, Maine. The groom is the son of Mary Quinn of Foxboro and the late Robert Quinn.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Gabrielle Garland was the maid of honor for her cousin.

The bridesmaids were Yvonne Quinn, sister-in-law of the groom, and Lauren Hollingshead, sister of the groom.

Maya Hayes, cousin of the groom, was the flower girl.

Justin Arvedon, friend of the groom, served as best man.

The ushers were Frank Connell and Mike Wright, friends of the groom.

Dylan Quinn, nephew of the groom, was the ring bearer.

The bride was home schooled by her mother through high school, and attended Central Maine Community College for two years.

She works as a sales associate at Victoria's Secret in Foxboro.

The groom graduated from Foxboro High School in 2006.

He served in the Army's 101st Airborne Division, Fort Campbell, Ky., from 2006-2010. He was deployed to Iraq from 2007 to 2008.

He has been a squad leader with the 1-182 Infantry of the Massachusetts National Guard since 2010. He was served in Afghanistan from 2011 to 2012.

He is currently a dog trainer for Sit Means Sit Dog Training.

The couple resides in Mansfield with their two dogs, Brook and Brew.
