Great River, N.Y. - The Mansion at Timber Point in Great River was the setting for the wedding ceremony and reception of Stephanie Udell and David Humphreys Jr. on Oct. 12, 2013. Dr. Charles G. Agin officiated during the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Margery and John Udell of Freeport, N.Y. The groom is the son of Deb and Dave Humphreys of North Attleboro.

Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore an ivory silk organza ballgown that featured an alencon lace bodice with a sweetheart neckline, a sheer net circular skirt with lace accents and pleated organza tiers and a chapel-length train.

The hand-tied bouquet featured ivory roses, Queen Anne's Lace and Scabiosa with accents of natural foliage and purple Veronica and Trachelium. The stems of this bouquet were wrapped with ivory lace, and included a locket with a picture of the bride's great-grandmother.

Rebecca Udell was the maid of honor for her sister.

The bridesmaid was Michelle Rothblum, cousin of bride.

Alice Rothblum, grandmother of the bride, was the flower matron.

Fred Oluokun, best friend of the groom, served as best man.

The ushers were Jesse Harris and Phil Mecik, both friends of the groom, and Harry Udell, brother of the bride.

The ring bearers were Bradley and Colin Johnson, cousins of the bride.

The bride earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

She is the compliance coordinator/office manager at Shillman House in Framingham, part of JCHE, a nonprofit housing organization.

The groom earned a bachelor's degree in journalism and communications from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and a master of fine arts degree in media arts from Emerson College in Boston.

He works as an instructor at Emerson College and a content producer at OPENPediatrics at Boston Children's Hospital.
