These couples shared their favorite parts of their ceremonies and receptions.

Jennifer Duggan and Matthew Holt

Attleboro

Reception venue: Atlantic Beach Club, Middletown, R.I.

Best part of wedding day

"It was a windy and cloudy day, with warnings of tornados and rain, but, as I began walking down the aisle, the sun broke through the clouds. We knew it was my late sister Julie's way of being a part of this moment," Jen said.

What made the day unique

"DJ Victor Rodrigues of Victor Events brought me to DJ a few songs during the reception! The guests absolutely loved it and it was a big surprise for everyone," Jen said.

Most touching moment of the day

"As I walked down the aisle (with) my mother and father, Matt was overcome with emotion. It was a special, touching, and rare moment for the couple and their guests," Jen said.

Shannon Coleman and Cory Shepardson

Best part of wedding day

"Being surrounded by all of our friends and family on our special day," Shannon said.

Most touching moment of the day: "Our first dance to Rascal Flatts' 'Bless the Broken Road,'" Shannon said.

April 22, 2012

Best part of wedding day: "Being able to spend the day surrounded by our loving and supporting family and friends who helped shape both ourselves and our relationship," Casey said.

Most touching moment of the day: "Seeing each other smile as we met eyes while we walked down the aisle knowing that no matter how many curveballs life throws us, our love has, and always will, find a way," Casey said.

What made the day unique: "We had a lot of little personal touches including our guestbook, personalized table numbers, memory table, and custom-made CDs for the drive to the reception," Casey said.

Ashley Bigda and John Walsh

North Attleboro

Wedding date: December 7, 2012

Ceremony venue: St. John the Evangelist Church, Attleboro

Reception venue: The Villa at Ridder Country Club, East Bridgewater

Best part of wedding day: "Sitting back at our sweetheart table, watching our family and friends smiling, laughing and dancing the night away as we took it all in. We never thought our grandparents would be the last to leave the dance floor!" Ashley said.

Most touching moment of the day: Ashley walking down the aisle to a favorite song from her childhood, "Edelweiss."

What made the day unique: "Going back in time as we rode to our reception in a 1957 hardtop Cadillac. Not only was it the perfect time to catch our breath and enjoy each other, it was a great surprise that my parents had arranged," Ashley said.

Jessica Doyle and Jonathan Loiacono

Boston

Wedding date: April 28, 2012

Ceremony and reception venue: Seaport Hotel, Boston

Most touching moment of the day: "All of it. It is absolutely amazing to marry your best friend," Jessica said.

What made the day unique: "We took time and put a lot of thought into all of the details of the day," Jessica said.

In lieu of favors the couple made a donation to the Scleraderma Foundation to honor Jon's father, who passed away in May 2011.

Jessica and Jon exchanged special jewelry - Jessica wears her great-grandmother's wedding band while Jon wears his father's wedding band.

They married under a chuppah, had a unity sand ceremony and Jon did a great job breaking the glass at the end of the ceremony.

"As a surprise Jon's band, Lights over Phoenix, played a short set during our wedding including originals and covers. Every guest was on the dance floor!" Jessica said.

Rachel Hackett and Dylan Bradshaw

Manville, R.I.

Wedding date: August 25, 2012

Ceremony venue: Ocean State Baptist Church, Smithfield, R.I.

Reception venue: Quidnessett Country Club, North Kingstown, R.I.

What made the day unique: "The wedding was more traditional in tone, focusing on the importance of Jesus Christ, our families and our friends in making us the people we have become and helping us to arrive at that moment filled with joy, love, and the blessings and support of so many in our lives," Rachel said.

Most touching moment of the day: "Taking our vows. The depth of what we were committing to, to the Lord and to each other, in front of those we love and cherish, was absolutely overwhelming. It was so solemn, but so tender, so profound, and so beautiful," Rachel said.

Best part of the wedding day: "Having every single member of each of our immediate families involved in an important and creative way!" Rachel said.

Pamela-Ann Udell and Matt Udell

North Attleboro

Wedding date: October 7, 2012

Ceremony and reception venue: Bittersweet Farm Resturant and Tavern Westport

What made the day unique: "We would have to say the venue and small touches we did ourselves. Bittersweet is rustic, romantic and perfect for the fall wedding we wanted. Small touches like the music we chose, Christmas lights that wrapped the beams above the dance floor and the escort cards that where all mounted on mini pumpkins, all made such an impact on the look and feel of the day. We wanted a fun, rustic fall wedding and we definitely got it!" Pam said.

Most touching moment of the day: "Writing our own vows. It was so amazing to hear in our own words how we felt and what we promised to each other as husband and wife," Pam said.

Best part of the wedding day: "Being able to finally call Matt my husband and for him to call me his wife. We had such an amazing time celebrating with our family and friends. We are just so happy to be married and start the rest of our lives together," Pam said.
